Starting off with design and costume plan for the puppet as well as the mechanical drawing. Later decided to move forward with puppet building with Urethane plastic casted head and foam build body
Head Sculpt
Sculpted from Chavant clay and plastic casted

Armature
Made out of 1/8 wire. Torso and hands were sculpted and baked with Sculpey Clay. Pelvis and feet sculpted off of propoxy. Coupling nut incoporated for rigging purposes in the pelvis area.

Painting reference comes from medieval portrait. With acrylic paint I attempted to achieve the soft oil painting look.

Foam Body Building
Cushion foam attached on the armature and later snipped off for body shape. To finish off, I used bandages to wrap around the body.
