Kinnaree Puppet
Kinnaree is an individual project done within 10 weeks for stop-motion class, the goal was to create a character puppet and have them in context.
Design
Kinnaree is a Thai mythical creature with her upper body of a human and from hips lower of a bird.
Puppet Fabrication Process
Sculpt
Sculpt is done with chavant, wings and tail are sculpted separately.
Mold Making for body
Because of the complexily in leg area, the mold has to be made in 3 parts, separating the feet for casting purposes.

Plastic Head, Wings and Tail
Head, Wings and Tail are later sculpted with chavant clay, Molded with Silicone GI-1000 and casted with Urethane Plastic. Later sanded, primed and painted.
